How is college club water polo structured?

College club teams throughout the country compete in regional divisions governed by the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA). Teams play at several regional tournaments throughout the fall semester leading up to a division championship. Division champions earn a chance to compete at the national tournament to determine the best team in the country.
